His reflexive consideration of the House of Chains as a “faction,” which is incorrect, is either a very well-executed and dangerous smokescreen or he is not a Member of the House. I lean toward the latter; I don’t think Oredigger as a Member in Chains would be that proactively aggressive this early in the game.

Notes: I consider her a decent candidate to be a Member in Chains. If I were going to lie, I would claim my protective ability as my only ability. Further, she PMed me to talk about working together, but did not mention a Clan and so far hasn’t been interested in joining a Clan. Counterargument: her #135 is like a neon “I am a Member” light to other Members, because she nails the truth about the House (a group of players who don’t know each other and need to be the last one standing); would she really be that obvious about it?

Notes: He’s an odd one. Most of his observations about the House in Chains – that we are not working together, that we do not have a standard Night kill (we can only kill one another) – have been right on. If he’s part of the House, he’s being quite brazen. To nphase: Special Ed worries me. There were two players coming into this game who I considered the biggest threats to catch me and just generally to win – one was Ed and one was you. I think he could be a useful ally, if he’s not HoC himself. Perhaps you could try to clan with him. If he is unable to make your clan his Primary, that means he’s probably HoC and I can kill him toNight. If he can clan with you, then he’s not HoC and we can, perhaps, bring him into this conspiracy we’ve got going on here.

Notes: I am me. I know the following information about the House of Chains: there are an unspecified number of Members, who do not know one another and who are competing to be the last Member standing. All Members have identical powers. When only one Member remains (and when the Master of the Deck of Dragons is dead), the last living Member will be removed from the game and win with whoever else wins. Only one Member in Chains can win the game, and their win condition is not incompatible with a Clan win. Members in Chains CANNOT join clans, but can pretend to, and count toward the four-member Clan limit while they are alive if they do.

He has supposedly joined his own one-person clan, so if the name he posted shows up as a one-person clan with one primary, we can assume he is definitely not. He’s still a huge wildcard.

1. Character - I'm an unaligned ascendant - I don't belong to any of the 7 houses in the Deck of Dragons
2. Power - I have 2 Day powers which influence the lynch vote plus a 3rd passive power which, as far as I can tell, is pretty useless unless I manage to survive till LyLo. One of my first 2 powers is testable, if needed, but both of them can be used for a limited number of times so I'll be reluctant to use them to prove my alegiance to he clan unless the circumstances are favorable.
3. Wincon - I have, what appears to be, the standard wincon : eliminate MoDD, eliminate HoC and ensure survival of clan

As I already said in the game thread, I'm an Ascendant. I also belong to a House, but not the House of Chains. My power is a Day power. I can submit the name of one player and at Dusk I will learn what clans that player is a member of and what Primary clan, if any, they have selected.

My WC is that I need the Master of the Deck dead and the House of Chains eliminated.

I just saw this! Skeezix is CLEARLY House of Chains. No question in my mind. We have to be able to use this.

PS - It won't matter to me, but if I do die, I strongly advise you to find Special Ed and sinjin, pull the over here, and try to restart this same plan with a different Member in Chains if you can find one (skeezix is probably a bad idea, because he's already exposed and for him it's really a question of when he will die, not if).

I don't have any idea what the MoDD's powers will be, really. He almost surely has a kill, but whether he'd choose to/need to advertise it? Dunno. Guiri's unspecified "power useful at LYLO" makes me a little nervous, to be honest.

Cookies on Ulla, Day One:

Your investigations of Total Lost reveal that she is a member of the Foolish Dog Clan and the One and Only Clan.

Neither of these is her primary clan.

Guiri and Ed have confirmed power usage from yesterday (not the lie detector, still wondering if he's lying about that -- two powers in one day?) Anyway, Guiri's description:

At least now you guys (and Ed) know that:
- I have the power to request extra votes anytime up to the deadline
- I can then assign the votes to any player over the last 24 hours of Day
- The mods will not explain the apparent discrepancy in vote counts
- The Day power extension allows me to recuperate unassigned votes
- At least 1 of Ed's powers is true and was used on me

To clarify: Guiri has a limited supply of extra votes he can assign as wished. He ordered up two of them for yesterday in protection of Ed -- they show as extra non-voters prior to being assigned. He then used Ed's day-order-extension ability to retrieve one of the extra votes, assigning the other one to luv, just in case.
