Votes generally don't count at night. And none of them are unvotes Strange. Oh, crap -- you're 100% right. C&P fuckup on my part. Lemme rectify that -- one sec... ha ha ha! he still didn't get that it's still Night.

LYLO for the Town toDay. Should be interesting. If the Scum are careless, this could still go bad.

OK, sending Gad the message is ballsy, but it makes sense, if he's really, really confident that he's right about Gad. I don't see the logic in telling SBrOwn, though-- The thing is, he could win by siding with Scum, but he could also win by betraying them. Either way, he wins, and he's just deciding which side he likes better. And of course the "side with Scum" option is also risky in that it depends on non-Town all getting their votes off before Town. SBrown really can't do much to betray the Scum, as he has no idea who they are. Well - he thinks they are sinjin and Bill, or possibly Hal. He has no idea that Gadarene is Scum; nor, I think, does anyone who is still alive.

Oh, I thought you were saying that BillMc was telling him everything. I guess he's just saying "I'm Scum, and you should side with us", then? That's safer, but also less coordinated, since SBrOwn then doesn't know who he ought to side with.

The freshly started (Day 2 just dawned) game on The Geeb needs a third sub already. If any of y'all want to help us out, it would be appreciated.

Aaand now I'm caught up. I can't believe no one else is finding Gad scummy He sticks out like a sore thumb to me. I'd have gone for Hal before Bill, but Bill was definitely next on the list with his whole 3-3 is lylo not game end misdirect.

Oh, and I used up my 3 investigation attempts, so scum killed me when I'm essentially vanilla now. Not that it makes a difference this late in teh game, but that's why I redacted the number of times I could use my power.

I'll keeping playing with my numbers...
D1: 19 town, 6 scum, 5 3rd, 1 pfk. town needs to eliminate 7 players (= 6 scum + 1 pfk); scum needs to eliminate 19 players (= 19 town - 6 scum + 5 3rd + 1 pfk). Town advantage +5 (= 19 - 7*2). With lynch of 3rd: town 7 (6+1), scum 18 (19-6+4+1). Town advantage +4. With Day kill of scum: town 6 (5+1), scum 19 (19-5+4+1). Town advantage +7.
D2: 18 town, 4 scum, 3 3rd, 1 pfk. town 5 (4+1), scum 18 (18-4+3+1). Town advantage +8. With lynch of 3rd: town 5 (4+1), scum 17 (18-4+2+1). Town advantage +7.
D3: 17 town, 4 scum, 1 3rd, 1 pfk. town 5 (4+1), scum 15 (17-4+1+1). Town advantage +5. With lynch of scum: town 4 (3+1), scum 16 (17-3+1+1). Town advantage +8.
D4: 14 town, 3 scum, 1 3rd, 1 pfk. town 4 (3+1), scum 13 (14-3+1+1). Town advantage +5. With lynch of town: town 4 (3+1), scum 12 (13-3+1+1). Town advantage +4.
D5: 11 town, 3 scum, 1 3rd, 1 pfk. town 4 (3+1), scum 10 (11-3+1+1). Town advantage +2.
D6: 9 town, 2 scum, 1 3rd, 1 pfk. town 3 (2+1), scum 9 (9-2+1+1). Town advantage +3.
D7: 5 town, 2 scum, 1 3rd, 1 pfk. town 3 (2+1), scum 5 (5-2+1+1). Town advantage -1.
D8: 3 town, 2 scum, 1 3rd, 0 pfk. town 2 (2+0), scum 2 (3-2+1). Town advantage -2.
Even though town needed to lynch the pfk to survive, the lynch also advanced the scum victory condition. Town continues to be at lynch or lose.

if i were still in the game i'd definitely suspect Bill. not because he's alive but because he's suddenly come alive. no more 'lurking.' he knows it's LYLO.

Which was the correct play, but you probably would have been the kill target anyway, due to being confirmed non-Scum.
And I think that Hal made the same mistake that Meeko did: He rightly didn't want to give away all the details of his power, since that would diminish its value, but he tried to hold onto that too long, and so is falling under suspicion.

Yeah, Hal should have been up front about his powers from the beginning. He was trying to be coy and help out town, but only made himself look worse. The fact that his powers were basically exactly what Gadarene claimed his powers to be should have made him claim straight up so there would have been more conflict.
If he'd done that, I may (not saying would, but two claims of the exact same power would have made me look a lot closer at both Gadarene and Hal towards the end of that Day) have flipped to Gadarene instead of Meeko which might have made all the difference in the game.

Or at least, he should have said that he had a limited number of uses, without specifying the number, like scathach did.

I don't think you can blame them for voting Hal really. Claimed doc who didn't protect a confirmed town (well, non-scum) investigator?
