BACKGROUND:
Mac Gargan was. Was weak. Was petty. Thought green armored suit meant power. Mac Gargan was.
Then the symbiote. Power, from another world. More power than Gargan could manage. Now Gargan is gone; there is Venom, and Venom is mighty.
Venom now is hero. Works for secret mighty agency. Children play with Venom action figure. One day, Venom will be free again. For this day, Venom is leashed. Cannot kill. Cannot feast.
Will finish battle. Find those who hide, and punish them. The promised reward is freedom. And then...
THEN feast.
ABILITIES/POWERS:
1. On any Night, you may cause your symbiote to target another player, creating a game-long bind between you and that player. If your target is Scum at the time of binding, (s)he will reject the symbiote, causing it to react by… er… killing you. If your target is non-Scum at the time of binding, they will accept the symbiote, and the connection between you will be permanently established. You will not learn your target’s role or alignment; you will known only that they are non-Scum (by virtue of the fact that you are not dead). They will similarly learn that you are non-Scum. You and your target will thereafter be able to communicate Day or Night on a separate board designed for that purpose. In addition, you may use the Symbiote to protect either one of you (one or the other, each Night, chosen as a Night action) against Night kills (PLEASE NOTE: If the Symbiote successfully deflects a Night kill, it will avoid further confrontation and will be unable to protect either you or your partner).
The only downside? Well, the symbiote links you to your target pretty tightly. If one of you dies, so does the other. If one of you is recruited after the link is established, however, the other will not know.
