Welcome to the game; you are The Trickster
ALIGNMENT: Scum
GENERIC: Inventor
WIN CONDITION: The number of Scum players remaining is greater than the number of non-Scum players remaining, and all malicious third parties (if any exist) are dead.
BACKGROUND:
Speaking in a strictly aesthetic sense, other Demons are far more impressive than you could ever hope to be. You were never gifted with scaled natural armor, fearsome claws, or even a modest-sized Sword of Bad Mojo. You are the comic relief demon; in past incarnations you have been the deformed Leprechaun, the possessed child's plaything, the Mowgli fed after midnight, the genial elderly shopkeeper. Your role is to facilitate bloodshed by sowing chaos, and many are the tricks you have developed in furtherance of this aim.
You have been brought here by a dark magic beyond your comprehension, and set loose to wreak havoc in this remote cabin in the woods. You expect that the humans here - mostly vain, paranoid, and plagued by doubt and uncertainty - will serve as excellent fodder for your particular brand of mischief-making.
After the failure of the last group of Demons to massacre the inhabitants of this cabin and establish a new nightmarish hegemony in the world called Earth, the Demon community has decided to take no chances with this second opportunity. A veritable All-Star team of the wicked, depraved, and foul-smelling has been assembled, and you are proud to have been selected. Morphous, the Nightmare Prince (peekercpa), Sphara, the All-Seeing (One and Only Wanderers), and a legendary assassin called The King of Blades (special ed) have assembled at the following URL:

There is a fifth Demon, a nameless peon who has achieved some small measure of success and longs to join your councils. He is disguised here as Telcontar. He has been set to accomplish a specific mission - he must kill something, anything (one of your number included). Once he does, he will be permitted to join you and work directly with you. Until then, though, it would be advisable to avoid getting in his sights, as he does not know who among the assemblage is a fellow Demon.
Good luck!
POWERS:
1. You may meet with your fellow Deadites at the URL given above, and may talk there about any subject by Day or by Night.
2. If you wish, you may execute the Scum kill on any given Night during which you do not use any of your special powers (see below).
3. You have a number of powers designed to confuse, frustrate, and deceive your enemies. Below is a list of the powers from which you may choose, each of which may be used only once.
B. Blink - This spell is used in conjunction with the regular Scum kill. It allows the perpetrator of the kill to execute the kill at the conclusion of the following Day rather than at Night, in effect making it impossible for that kill to be affected or observed by Night powers. This will work even if the perpetrator of the kill is Night killed or lynched the following Day (or if you are).
C. Gossip - Allows you to deliver a message of up to ten words in length, which you may choose to either appear publicly (it will appear in the Dawn color as letters made of fire, floating in the air in the common room) or as an anonymous private message to a player of your choice.
D. Paranoia - This spell must be targeted against a player who is NOT part of the Scum collective. It will engender in its target a fierce, violent sense that (s)he is being targeted by a vast and dangerous conspiracy. If that player is lynched on the Day immediately following the use of this spell, (s)he will be afforded a bonus kill which (s)he must use to kill a player of his/her choice who has voted for him/her.
E. Confusion - This spell must be cast at Night. On the following Day, you may place as many as two dummy votes for a player of your choice. These votes will not count in any substantive way, and will vanish immediately prior to the lynch deadline for the Day, but they will appear in all vote counts throughout the Day.
F. Invisibility - This spell will render its target immune to all watching/tracking powers for the Night on which it is cast. You may use this on yourself if you wish. [/ul]
