BACKGROUND:
As a great man once said: it's a pleasure to burn.
You have always been a great student of the subject of fire. As a child, pursuing your education was extremely difficult - a snuck match here, a magnifying glass there - but your collegiate years were a wonderland of lighters, gasoline, and dry abandoned houses on the fringe of town.
You graduated from petty arsonist to costumed archvillain more out of necessity than desire. The various tools of your trade cost a ton to maintain and replenish - have you seen the price of gas these days? - and a network of henchman and colleagues were ultimately essential in avoiding the attentions of generic law enforcement, let alone the Bat and his gang.
So you took on odd jobs, and collected a decent salary for it, but in the end, for you, it was always about the work. And lately, you've found yourself pursuing flames that are larger, wider, every more powerful. You've got an idea for your masterwork, a massive gout of flame that will serve as the punctuation mark on your so-far mediocre career... and perhaps irritate the Bat a bit in the bargain.

POWERS:
You are equipped with an unlimited supply of small incendiary charges. Each Night, you may place one such a charge near the residence of a target of your choice. Your target will catch a faint whiff of kerosene upon waking in the morning, but otherwise will be none the wiser.
On any given Night, you may choose to detonate all of the charges placed to date. This will result in a massive, thrilling explosion of flame, centered around each of your targets to date - protecting them, for that Night, from nearly any attempt to harm them. The explosion will also consume you, so in essence you'll be trading your own life to preserve those of all of your targets.
Two times during the game, you may choose to reposition a charge from someone you have already targeted to a different target (if a previous target dies, or appears to be someone you do not wish to protect). You may switch a charge at Night in addition to placing a new charge.
