ROLE NAMES: The Eavesdropping Sister
ALIGNMENT: Town
GENERIC ROLE DESCRIPTION: Detective
BACKGROUND
Ash's beloved sister, she came up to this cabin to read and sleep and bake. She has no interest in engaging in declasse and ill-mannered behavior like consuming alcohol, listening to loud roll-and-rock music, or engaging in carnal relations with members of her preferred sex.
She does, however, have a powerful interest in reporting the activities of those who do engage in those activities.
POWERS
Fairly straight-up Tracker role: can follow any player and find out what they're up to (ie, what, if any, Night actions they performed).
Almost certainly will serve as cover for one of the Deadites.
QUESTIONS
None, really.

So I'm thinking: I don't want this to be a no-vanilla game, exactly, but I do think we're going to eventually provide the scum with "fake claims," a bit like in Batman. Color-wise, the idea would be that the Deadites took over the bodies of several of the people partying at the cabin, and had access to their possessions sufficient to assume their identities wholesale.
I thought Ash's nosy sister could be an investigative role. But then I came up with a different investigative role, which I'll be posting presently, so now my thoughts have changed. I think we should make her a vanilla Cop, maybe with a bit of flavor or a weird restriction or something, but then not actually include the role in the game as other than a scum alibi.
What think?
If everyone likes this plan, then we should initially focus on developing: (1) the mechanics; (2) the PFK; and (3) the pro-Town roles, attempting to develop a bunch of extra pro-Town roles to use as alibies (but without planning them as alibis from the start. If we plan 10 roles as if we're going to use them all, then include only six in the game and use the other four as scum alibis, it'll make for better alibis).
We can then fill in the powers of the Deadites once everything else is done and we have a better idea of how the game is shaping up.

 the way I did it for mine, was all the fake roles were simply roles DESIGNED to go into the game, or a parody of a "cheap" valued Townie version of a scum role (ie: Joe Chill's an exact copy of a townie Alfred)
So yeah, just keep churning out Townie roles, and the left overs can easily belong to the Scum.
