WIN CONDITION: Deadites control the voting (ie, there are more Deadites than non-Deadites, or there are an equal number of Deadites and non-Deadites and the Deadites control the tiebreaker).
BACKGROUND:
Of all the fanged, horned, burning, slavering beasts that inhabit the hell dimension you call home, you are the deadliest, at least by the all-important metric of "greatest number of sharp edges." Your fingers are razor-edged, as are your arms and shins. You carry eleven different types of knife, from the heavy machete to the silent stilleto. Your boots are rigged with lethal, poisoned thorns that spring from their heels, to provide an extra-special surprise. You are an assassin, the silent killer sent after the most dangerous warrior in any army, and you are very, very good at your job.
In part this stems from a strange accident of biology. The portion of your brain that governs your autonomic nervous system is especially sensitive to the chemicals produced by beings in the throes of murderous rage. In essence, you feed on hatred, and the more you sense, the deadlier you become. Absorb a sufficient amount of loathing, and you are capable of wondrous things (here we use the alternate definition of the word "wondrous," meaning "likely to cause lots of bleeding." In this new dimension, you will find that absorption of sufficient negative emotion will allow you to carry out kills independent of your Deadite colleagues.
There are six members of your little army. The others are the general who calls himself Evil Ash; a disembodied Moose Head; a Skanky Vampire Demon; and a pathetic, forgotten peon whose name is irrelevant. In an ironic twist, you are led by a human, a twisted sorcerer played by the most Famous Actor in the picture. You are individuals, but you are collectively bound by a dark magic far beyond the ken of even your leader. This magic propels you all toward a common goal, and allows you to be certain of the loyalty of all six of your fellows (translation: consider it mod-confirmed; there is no Scum traitor in this game).
The same dark magic enforces a rigid hierarchy among you, and you personally rank third in that order. The surviving Deadite with the highest rank is responsible for making decisions for the Deadite collective; if the Deadites should ever wrest the influence needed to break ties away from the wretched humans, that power falls to the highest-ranking living Deadite.
All right, enough talk. Let’s get out there and do some damage. Try not to end up dead. Well, deader than you already are, I guess.
POWERS:
1. At Night, you may carry out a kill on behalf of the Scum collective, if you are chosen to do so, by utilizing any of your assorted and sundry sharp things. Please be sure to read the section entitled “About your Kills” on the Scum Board (http://deaditechat.proboards.com; password: thepit) for more details.
2. You have the opportunity to earn as many as two extra kills, by any of the following means (each one will work only once).

2A: You may earn one by being either the first or third vote on a lynched Townie.
2B: You may earn one if at any time you have received more total votes over the course of the game than any other living player.
2C: You may earn one if at any time there are four times as many votes cast in a single Day than there are living players in that Day.
2D: You may earn one if every living Scum player receives at least one vote from a non-Deadite player in the same Day.
