Welcome to the game; you are The Bit Part Demon
ALIGNMENT: Scum
GENERIC: Special [Rank: 6]
WIN CONDITION: Deadites control the voting (ie, there are more Deadites than non-Deadites, or there are an equal number of Deadites and non-Deadites and the Deadites control the tiebreaker).
BACKGROUND:
“I’m that guy you see
In every horror flick.
You may not remember me;
I come and go too quick.
You wouldn’t know my name,
I hardly ever speak a line.
If the hero kills a hundred demons,
I’m the forgettable number thirty-nine.
Well, I’m a bit part demon
A small time misfit.
I’d say you’ll be dead by dawn!
But I don’t really mean it.
I’m a threat to no one, the other Deadites make fun
Of me... Evil Eddie...
The Bit Part Demon.”
From Evil Dead: The Musical
Some important info: there are six members of your little army. You are individuals, but you are collectively bound by a dark magic that propels you all toward a common goal, and allows you to be certain of the loyalty of all six of your fellows (translation: consider it mod-confirmed; there is no Scum traitor in this game).
The same dark magic enforces a rigid hierarchy among you, and you personally rank dead last. The surviving Deadite with the highest rank is responsible for making decisions for the Deadite collective; if the Deadites should ever wrest the influence needed to break ties away from the wretched humans, that power falls to the highest-ranking living Deadite.
All right, enough talk. Let’s get out there and do some damage. Try not to trip on anything.
POWERS:
1. You have modestly superhuman physical strength and agility, making you an efficient killer, as long as your target isn’t too important in the grand scheme of things. You may carry out a kill on behalf of the Scum collective, if you are chosen to do so, but are capable of killing only vanilla Townies. Please be sure to read the section entitled “About your Kills” on the Scum Board (xxx.xxxx.xxx; password: thepit) for more details.
2. When you are not killing, you stand in protection of your fellows; you may die so that another might live. Should any of your mates be targeted for a Night kill, you will take the bullet in their place. You may choose to cover any number of your mates each Night, including all or none, at your discretion.
