Time to Get in Gear...

27 players have signed up. I'm going to randomize roles at lunchtime. I think I'm going to start day One tomorrow-ish (Thursday), and just deal with the holidays as they happen.

That means it's time to push for completion on what remains.

Here are the remaining issues as I see them:

1. Finish and finalize Freddy's powers.
2. Add powers, if needed, to Evil Ash and the Famous Actor
3. Finish the Prince of Blades PM
4. Write the fake claims for the Scum
5. Create boards for Masons, Scum, and PFK
6. Create google docs for the rules, the Vanilla PMs, and the color
7. Randomize roles

One question. I was thinking today, as I drove to work, that the Complete A-Hole's power is kind of crappy. I thought of a fake role last night that I think might be more useful. It's "The Creepy Stranger With Shovel," and the premise is that he's that creepy guy who seems suspicious, but helps the heroes in the end. He'd be a backup Doc. As long as the Virginal Beauty is still able to protect people, The Creepy Stranger With Shovel would have no powers. If she dies or loses her ability to protect, he'd be activated. He could then protect one player per Night - but only a player who has voted for him during the course of the game.

I think this would be a more interesting role. I could switch the Complete A-Hole over and make it a scum cover role. What think?

I think Freddy has a good set of powers there with Shadowfacts and mine as nice bonuses on top.

They still need something extra to bump out the imbalance.

IMHO - A like the idea of Deadite control/sacrifice for Evil Ash and making the Famous Actor either a Scum Doc or....

Howabout making him a scotsman (they always come back don't they), with the added issue that on death their role is not revealed and that they come back during the next DayBreak. ie. If lynched, they come back at Dawn, if Night Killed, they come back the Dawn after the following Night?

3. Finish the Prince of Blades PM
Another suggestion is that for each Night kill they have to get 4 times the number of votes in a Day than combined scum and deadites, followed by five times, then six times for the last one.

Its a good role either way, either as town or as scum cover.
