BACKGROUND:
As a great philosopher once noted, it's not easy being green. But it helps when you're also 6'5", stronger than virtually anyone outside of cousin Bruce when he's really ticked off, and trained in three kinds of martial arts (the law included).
Unlike your more famous male counterpart, you also have control over your tendency to shift to different parts of the color spectrum when under extreme stress. As a result, you fit more comfortably and easily into society; you have never worn a mask or taken particular pains to conceal your public identity, so the SHRA is no great burden for you in particular.
However, even if it were, your years as an attorney have given you an immense respect for the law and the power of due process. You've worked closely with Tony Stark on helping your friends who have chosen to register keep their rights to privacy and even anonymity as much as possible, and feel firmly that working within the Act instead of against it is in the long-term best interests of everyone involved.
And so you have come to Ryker's Island, where you initially intended to assist Tony in the processing of new registrants but find yourself instead forced to conceal your identity and stand against those who oppose the SHRA. You will do your level best to convince them of the foolishness of their ways: by well-crafted argument if possible, by giant green right hook if necessary.
ABILITIES/POWERS:
1. Once per Night, you may choose a player over whom to stand guard. If an attack would normally target that player, it will target you instead. This will result in your death in most cases.
2. Your power grows along with your confidence, and in your case winning arguments and being proved correct builds your confidence. If you ever place either the first or the hammer vote on a non-Town player, resulting in the lynch of same, on the subsequent Night you will survive a successful protection (ie, you will be a Doctor). Your power will still be lost after such an event, however - you'll just live through it, and so will your charge (absent some other occurrence).
On the other hand, if you ever place either the first or the hammer vote on a Town player, resulting in the lynch of same, you will be unable to act at all on the subsequent Night.
