Welcome to the game; you are Spider Man[/i]
REAL NAME: Peter Parker

ALIGNMENT: Town
GENERIC: Tracker
WIN CONDITION: All Anti-Registration forces have been neutralized
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BACKGROUND:
You are the Amazing Spider Man, friend to helpless damsels and adorable cuddly puppies everywhere, master of the snarky pop culture reference, and bane of every goofball mad scientist who ever slapped on a mask with ill intent. You've been immortalized in song and animation, and you even had your own film series! Starring Tobey Maguire! Who is... kind of a tool. OK, forget the film series. Still: you are Spider Man. You've built a memorable crime-fighting career centered around a central principle, which has guided your actions through even your darkest hours:
Chicks dig guys who can hang upside down.
There's another principle, as well, one which you feel applies slightly more to your present situation: with great power comes great responsibility. A little heavy, maybe, but true. You have grave doubts about the Superhuman Registration Act and its implications for your own anonymity and the safety of those you love. But at its heart, you feel the SHRA is about taking responsibility for the power you have been given and the ways you have chosen to use it. And you can't turn away from that even if facing it creates difficulties.
So Spider-Man will be a reluctant supporter of the SHRA, and a reluctant prosecutor in the battle against the Act's opponents. You'd like to avoid bloodshed if you can, so you'll use your agility and background as an investigative reporter and photographer to try to ferret out Captain America and his team as quickly as possible. Fortunately, you have a tremendous ability to use humor as a defense mechanism.
ABILITIES/POWERS:
1. Once per Night, you may follow a player of your choice. You will learn who that player targeted, and what they did or attempted to do to their target. You will not learn whether their attempt was succesful, nor will you learn whether anyone else targeted the same target.
2. Your Spider Sense allows you to be highly attuned to danger. Your Spider Sense will warn you if any player targets you with any action (positive or negative), and allow you to evade this action. Unfortunately, evading the action with which you are targeted will require you to abandon your own target and you will get no results for that Night.
You may choose to ignore your Spider Sense at your own peril. When selecting your target, indicate that you wish to ignore any signs of danger and you will continue to follow your target even if you yourself are targeted.
TWO NOTES: Your Spider Sense is not infalliable, and certain abilities may be able to overcome it. Also, once you have successfully evading one kill you will not be able to evade any others... even very clever spiders get squashed eventually.
