FYI - Drain Bead (Role Blocker) has heard about skeez and intends to role-block him toNight. I can't think of a way to discourage her from doing that without really exposing my backside.
So: does this kind of make us think Drain is unlikely to be a Member in Chains? I mean, if she were a Member, why choose to role-block skeez instead of just killing him? I can understand not killing him if she were going to protect an ally, or investigate, or even cloak herself, but to give up killing someone you need dead in order to role-block that player instead? I guess it could be a huge bluff... but a needless one, I think. She approached me and volunteered the whole thing.

I heard about that through Guiri as well. I'm not sure what to make of it. The thing that might stop her from killing him if she is a Member in Chains is that she's aware his status is well-known, and she would have to guess he might have spread his role PM around. A self-proclaimed roleblocker aware of a Member in Chains, and that MiC winds up dead --- rather suggestive, wouldn't you think? So maybe she just thinks that this is what a non-HoC roleblocker would do, hearing of this situation. Or maybe she does intend to kill him, and try to pin it on someone else.
Guiri told Skeez about it also; haven't seen Skeez's response yet.

When's the deadline for night-phase orders? I need to think about who to switch you with, and we need to consider the implications as regards Pleonast's planned action.

I'm in communication with oredigger.
I've dropped the hint that I know quite a bit about his clan. I've also dropped the idea that Mahaloth is the Master.
He's responded positively saying he'll need a new clan if he's clanned with a Chain and the Master. He saw the point about Mahaloth having Day kill pwoers

Ed I had a thought. With you in a clan or two with Story, you could plausibly cover for him as a primary member. He says he's declaring primary membership, but you do instead. I keep primary in our clan, covering for you, while saying I've dropped it to curry favor elsewhere.

That would work, unless we want to test sinjin.
I've already made that clan primary, and I've admitted as such to the other group.
Can we change primary clans at Night?

Well, I assume you have to investigate a statement made on the Day you use your power. You could always investigate me or peeker to see if we are legit. Can you investigate statements we make here? If so, I and peeker could just make a direct claim here and you could see if we are honest. Otherwise, you could just choose randomly, since I see no real way to know who to pick anyway. How does mahaloth know the limitation of my power?

Once per "24 hours" is my recollection. Tonight (or rather, the morning's write-up) will test sinjin; and by the following morning if we all still live we should be able to fake something up for Story.

Re: Mahaloth, I can't say for sure, but the only other time I've seen a legit lie detector, that was the exact restriction that was on him. So it may be an honest assumption.

I felt I had to ask this question.
I've suddenly been privy to a great deal of information.
Having to read 2 forums with over 100 posts that both started without me was quite a task.
Doing it quickly was quite a paradigm shift.
Also, having my primary loyalty to sinjin made me feel a bit uneasy to align myself without her. Add to that the tone I was reading into guiri's posts, questioning me on actions that occurred before he consented to open communication with me irked me. Especially after having to fight for my life yesterDay,
So, that's all a preamble to why I asked normal this question. I wanted a straightforward answer.
I would like sinjin invited here if she checks out. I had doubted her a bit, but she assures me that there will be 2 primary members of the Clan of the Big Idiot. (which was named because I made the foolish mistake of naming the clan and the proboards the same thing. It was the move of an idiot.) With a clan of 5, we will be stronger all the way around. And almost assuredly, one of us will die along the way (probably more). And if it comes down to it at the end, I guess we can deal with it then.
