Peeker is nuts enough to agree to this, I think. If you can be reasonably comfortable he's not the MoDD (and assuming he does redirect someone today), I'd be all for him joining us.
About sinjin, do you agree that with the sample PM having gone up early, the handshaking she and Ed did isn't definitive? If by "tell her who you are" you mean tell her I'm a bus driver and am working with you, I might be ok with that in terms of the direct risk, but I'd be concerned about the repercussions if it got back to Guiri or Cookies that I was working outside clan boundaries to quite that extent. Guiri in particular is someone I'd like to have around with me at endgame, assuming he can be checked out as safe (see his role claim in the other thread).
Is she claiming her ability within the clans she's in?

I'm amused by Pleonast's "I'm so open and trustworthy" gambit. It's obvious it's BS in just the manner you've described, but it could well be effective anyway.

I have told peeker that I suspect redskeezix of being HoC. Peeker has influence on the player with the Day kill; I am hoping Pleo and his partner will simply take care of skeezix right now.
I also wonder if Pleo's partner is the Master of the Deck of Dragons.
Finally, in an amusing note, Special Ed just deleted me from the Clan boards I shared with him (he was the admin for both). That's a Godfather move if ever there was one :-)

Should be "Peeker and his partner." I have Pleo on the brain right now. For some reason, he drives me crazy. He's absolutely right; I'm not being fair to him. But in the last game, he refused to claim Doctor even when it got him killed - I don't know how you can possibly predict a player like that, let alone work with him.

Ed has sent me a clarifying PM. His claims make somewhat more sense, now. Importantly, he can only investigate the T/F value of statements made directly to him by PM. Thus all of the stuff posted in the game thread is meaningless, as far as his power goes, and his power is sufficiently crippled that my suspicions of him have been somewhat allayed.
Unfortunately, my waffling is going to draw attention to me tomorrow. I'm going to have to do some very careful cementing of alliances in the next Day or so.

Cookies will be/has done her clan investigation thing on either Ulla or Zuma, btw (I tried to push for Ulla, but it may have been too late.) Obviously anyone who shows up as having a primary clan selected cannot be HoC, so her ability could be useful, if not necessarily definitive (especially as regards the MoDD, who may well be allowed to name a primary clan as partial balancing against being truly against everyone else in the game.)

Edit: and also to mitchy and presumably to Zuma -- given that, we might also extrapolate he's informed other clans he's in. Dang idle forums not showing who's been CC'ed on a message; I can just tell it's going to cause serious problems at some point.

Also: this may not be such a bad thing. If it gets around to a wide enough distribution, eventually some other Member in Chains might hear it and kill redskeezix toNight even if he's not Daykilled.
