If y'all hadn't ratted me out, I would have been roleblocking Normal by day and Natlaw by night. But oh well.

Big talk for the role that killed 2 of us! We had no way of knowing what you were up to, except that you were very, very good at killing us.

I don't get OAOW's plan here. What was the benefit of augmenting the information about Cookies?

I'm guessing he's just trying to freak them out, distract the, or otherwise instill paranoia however he can. One thing I forgot to say about OAOW's claim PM is that the lack of explicit limitations/constraints really stuck out to me as evidence that it was fabricated, which had been mentioned by someone else by the time I really started needling at him, but I neglected to reference it in my needling.

I mentioned it as well; good on TexCat for picking it up.

You know. I had nearly forgotten about Nanook. I was sitting here thinking that all Town has to do is lynch OAOW and we can put this one to bed. Has Nanook done anything all game? I took a quick look at the post count and I see that Nanook has 23 posts for the entire 3000 post thread. Romanic, who was out on Day One has 30. Chipacabra, same deal. Fourteen dead players have more posts than Nanook. The next lowest poster of living players is TexCat with 61.
I kind of wish we could just kill Nanook for them and be done with it.

Well, if they kindly look at my case against Nanook on the day they lynched me, they'll see that basically everything he's done in those 23 posts has been either in support of a scum or directed at lynching a Townie. He's toast if One and Only goes down.

The game is about 99% unsinkable for scum at this point, right? 6 mislynches of people who are far less scummy-looking. At some point I expect them to throw in the towel and concede the game to town.
Would this be the strongest town win in SDMB history? I can't remember hearing about a game with more town left alive at the end.

"Strongest" town win implies good town play. I'd be more comfortable with "Most lopsided".

I just noticed my iPhone's hilarious auto-correction of "unwinnable" into "unsinkable." That gives entirely the wrong impression of my thoughts!

From Nanook:
Seems like the smart play. There are too many powers arrayed against them.

Did scum try and kill anyone last Night? Could Normal Phase ask: "Who attempted to kill brewha last night?"

Ug. It looks like Town is going to fall into he trap of "not wanting to lynch power roles." It's going to be a long slog to the inevitable conclusion.
I can't say that I blame them though. People are more comfortable lynching 'for a reason,' and TexCat has a nominal reason. I just wish they would reread all their suspicion on OAOW. Seriously, where did all that shit go?

I'm baffled by Total Lost. She herself is listed as Vanilla yet she hold's TexCat's vanilla claim against her? How does this make a lick of sense?
Even if one assumes that all "vanilla" get powered up at some point later, there is no reason to assume that the condition that would power up TexCat is known to her or that it has to happen in the game. This is especially true for Total Lost since she herself only found out about her power after the book was taken from the pedestal. For all Total knows TexCat could have a secret power whose condition will never be met.
If I were in the game I'd find Total Lost's attitude totally scummy due to the inconsistency. I'd be wrong, but I can't piece together what's going on over there. I keep telling myself that inconsistency doesn't equal scum, but these kinds of contradictions really grab my attention.
