Just Comments (because as a Mod it's always fun to know what your players are thinking. sort of my diary for the game).

Personally right now, I've spent the last hour reading up a lil on my character, and I really dig it. Son of the Joker, Annoying Awkward Teenager, the references to basically V for Vendetta. Very nice job finding this character and for letting me have it! I'm honored.

That said, I'm also REALLY expectant to be NK/DK soon. Before I even get one invention out there (Which sucks, because I'd really ideally like to do 2-3 inventions). But it's fun to see what others are doing, and I've got a mini-Game of my own going- How long can I fool them into thinking I'm an 18 year old teenage girl?
-I've thought about using the silly cover story that Dio's my Older Brother and I'm his little sister, but facebook might spoil that idea. But it would have been fun for the peanut gallery, especially if they don't know who i am. I can only wonder what Boozy woulda thought of seeing that- "She claimed to be my WHAT?!?!" Half a mind to consider doing that, but maybe as Night Fluff.... Will have to try to see if I can research Dio a lil bit (find his old real name and all- I used to have it).

-That said, I'm realizing how tough it is to stay in character. The bunnies are annoying, but the only thing I'm doing to reinforce the Girly-ness, and the Avatar being female (I've found that goes along way in pushing views). If I thought less of them, and there were more guys, I would have put an avatar with more cleavage on. That said, it's tough not to try to use the old terminology (as I'm the no0b), so asking about the FOS, and not wanting to be the 3rd vote on Ed/Chronos because I KNOW that if I make that vote, someone will try to use that as an "Ah-HA! The Noob doesn't know it and she might be scum" (which would be a scummy tactic, but at this point, I dont need to help either side more or less, especially with my death).
-That said, I realize I can't escape my old posting style. I still have long wordy posts (Especially when I vote, I don't like just joke voting, i need an argument, but this is just me trying to always be the best townie i can be regardless of role). I'm trying to avoid it, but it's tough I'm also trying to post less too, but even then- I broke up my posts, and just added 3 to my post count when it coulda been 1 longSUPER post that noone would read (an effective scum tactic, but not one i like- I don't like to hide as scum or town, that's just anti-town both ways).

-My moment of Self-Indulgence:
My most recent post, my "fangirl" moment is a lil' insider information- about why i wrote the death post I did at the end of the game. I had Frank Miller's Dark Knight Returns specifically in mind, and if I was to create an Arkham 2, it's the out I would have used. Batman "faked" his death in the end of that game, and it gave me the out- that if they returned to the asylum, they'd notice the body was gone. He goes underground, and basically waits for the day to rise again in my next sequel. Whether or not you took that idea and ran with it, I don't know (Basically the idea of Batman being Bruce still vs. "an imposter", but I do like the idea of an imposter batman, if you have both in there, well done). I am also personally against the idea of Batman being PFK, I'd rather him be the Godfather, but its only for continuity's sake. If I was making the game, Batman would be the GF again, but would of course get a perfect Disguise as well.

-That said, I wonder if you even reused any old roles, or if you found all knew characters. I'm wondering- is the Joker even in the game? I know my role isn't a well known one, but I'm curious if the others are still the "big bads" if you will. It's the suspense, but of course, the way I like to find out? With blood. I'm sure teh bodies that turn up will explain a bit more.

-My vote for Jan, is the honest vote I'd make at this point. Regardless of role. My reasonings are real. I'm playing Town right now, if I was scum, I'd prolly wait and see a lil bit more. Maybe stir up some shit (also another way I'm trying to avoid being myself- no hard confrontations, and WAY less language as well. Gotta avoid the Tells).

--And I will admit, I spent about 30 mins trying to figure out Chronos's Acrostick. I assumed it was a comic book quote, most likely from Wikiquote, but alas, the search engine for "starts with" didn't really help with that many letters, and after 30 mins I felt foolish because he could have just made that shit up as a distraction for scum/townies (Because I assume you gave scum fake identities, he easily could have taken one and put up that idea- so I'm down with him and Rysto for the Vig idea as being the big 2 scummiest, but a vote for chronos would be the fatal 3rd vote, so i'd avoid it for now).
-I will also have to debate how much I'll have to modify my role to come up with a fake identity. I think I could be investigated/NK tonight, because I personally think I sound too smart for a n00B and would easily pop up on someone's radar as "too smart to for their own good", my goal was to go for a Dotchan level ignorance of what's going on ("Keep her as the perfect final game townie"), but I think players who are expereinced investigates would want to either investigate me or PizzaGuy because we're the two newest peep who have shit to actually say.... And it's good to get a read on 'em.
The toughest part will be trying to cover up my 3rd party status- i think they'll view that as a "free" lynch anytime, and so I wouldnt be valuable alive to 'em. Especially with my roles/powers. That mightneed the most editing. But I'll wait until Night to do that stuff.

-And those are my thoughts halfway thru Day 1. Let me know if you enjoy this sorta stuff, or if you'd rather not read the lines of texts and I can just sorta sum it up at the end of the game. But I'm an egotist and I love also know what my players are thinking of the game at the same time. So if you want more, I'll be happy to oblige whenever I can.

Just an Update on my thoughts:

Since when did the Town become a bunch of Pussies since I left? I don't get the whole "give scum a fighting chance" argument notably by Pizza, Jan, and Pollux Oil. When I was scum, this is the shit I LIVED for- the whole point of Mafia IS to out think the other players AND The MOD/GM whoever invented the damn thing.
-I think Chronos' tactic is totally a valid one, and if scum, I'd start going through my options:
1. Check the posts to see which one is fake, and spread my chances- create a "generic" but not generic quote that could either apply to multiple scum, or one that could fit with the "role" of any of the fake PMs. Basically, see if I can edit a Role Claim with Powers, keep much of the text similar in terms of powers or such, change it to pro-townie actions and go from there.
--->I expect and hope my scum players come up with and modify my fake role PMs, that's why the ones I used in Arkham all had one or two "gastard" effects to them- Scum should use them as a template- The post restrictions, the out of game character, etc. The whole point is to not make it easier for the Scum (and one way I "balanced" the game, Townies were supposed to find the scum- plus no one considers in that game that year less townies, but EVERY Townie has a power either for the Night or Day, no one was truly "vanilla" and so noone really had a +1 value point, but everyone forgets that detail, they only focus on the Sach numbers./rant )
2. Bus a Scum. Post our things, and hope Batman's/GF role PM isn't the one that's going to suck. And then suck it up. When it comes down to it, when that scum gets ready to be bussed, the Scum should be leading that charge- it's not going to happen Day 1, and they'll have a night to think about it.
-->Every Scum should be willing to die for their team, Mafia is a TEAM sport, and the Mafia is filled with Socialist Commies! Every scum should be willing to take their fuckups and turn it into a positive for their team. For an example of this: Blade Runner Mafia- where the GF was Dotchan, and joined in late to the Mafia team, and also rather clueless- the rest of the Scum (myself included) helped her out, and did our best to ensure the heat was off her and she made it to the end (and she still only ended up winning that game because of a coin flip -_-) But we all did our parts, damnit!

3. Spread the love, have someone not claim, spread some doubt. Lie low, lurk. Whatever it needs, maybe have 2 scum not participating for diff reasons. When the role is revealed, figure out which scum is more powerful, give them the good role, and the other one gets the shit role.
---> They're not factoring in this part- once Chronos Claims, we're NOT going to all fucking mass claim. All this does is add a hoop for scum to jump through if they want to depend on a fake Role PM. Easiest thing to do- quote a power in the acrostic, and create a new role PM. Story, you've got a certain vocab and a spin, but later in the game, how many people are going to start to focus on semantics and "storyteller's" style as it gets to LyLo? -->And just nip that in the bud too, bandwagon a semantics arguement vs. someone else's post, let the townies kill off someone for a spelling error or a "story wouldnt' write that way" mislynch, and the Town will shut up about that.
You've only got two things in this world- your balls and your word. And if you're scum, you've only got your BALLS. Use THEM.

4. Least smart move, but fun and you've done this before i think. Just use your fake roles, and then when Chronos posts the role, you have two tactics:
-Outright counterclaim him, and basically force the townie into a game of WIFOM. Try to use your words to get them to lynch the other guy, hope he's not a superTownie role; at best a 3rd party, and then try to WIFOM the town to argue you're a cop or something and Chronos was out to get you (once he's dead, he can have any motives, esp since you're not revealing much i believe).
-Or wait it out. Again, Chronos isn't asking for a mass claim, just the things, submit the acrostic, and wait it out. See who it is, that person sucks it up. They've gotta just try to avoiding being forced to role claim ever. That's all. If they have to- then go for the WIFOM strategy. Fun part- as scum then, NEVER target Chronos (unless suspect he's a PFK too), just let the townie doctors WIFOM on debating to protect him, the Vig debate on attacking him, and Roleblockers too. As scum, you focus on the others still- your goal- kill the Doctors first, and recruit your numbers up, and pile up the bodies. leaving Chronos alive, lets you pour the Wine into the fires of WIFOM that Chronos is scum actually and bullshitted the whole acrostics thing because that's something that a scum could EASILY DO. Hell, Chronos is still on my list as scum, and as a cop, I'd have to WIFOM checking him out (bonus points if he was the GF). Just name a fake role that's likely NOT to be in the game ever. (Ala ASH from Evil dead or traffic cone). Good job, got rid of a "fake role claim" which really gained nothing from the town, but MASSIVE townie cred for Chronos. See the WIFOM already? Is he a GF or a scum or is he really towniie and just alive on Day 5 or 6 for a reason?

II. Scum suspects for me, like I said.
Chronos, Pollux Oil (I know him IRL, and from how he used to play, he's smarter than he's playing here. The whole keeping Pleo alive shit- reeks. He knows something else, or he's scum, because his reasoning isn't normally this flimsy, and his whole cuddling up to the "this isn't right" is just silly too. Unless he too has lost his balls).
Also, Pizza guy and Jan are still on the list- and meeko, they're refusing to play Chronos game. I wonder if it's because of nobility, or because they're "lazy scum" who've not thought about using the above tactics. Jan's line about more work for scum really pinged me, and totally would be a great way to try to bus her if I was scum and she wasnt. Is it wrong that I play Townie, by thinking "what would I do if I was scum" and see who's doing that? I think a lot has changed in 3+ years. I feel old, Story, old....

Also- Inner Stickler- on my list of scummy peep because of the way he defended Pleo- it was so much cuddling, and I wonder if it's because he's recruitable or just what? I still think Pleo IS likely the Joker, and totally PFK.

Hal- I get a "Red Shiny Button" Vibe from his actions- hell, I probably woulda done the same Just to see if Pleo was bluffing. He's a null person right now. And I like keeping Hal around, he's great for creating Shiny Button Moments, another item in the Tool box, ya know? Good to know some things are still the same. And damn, I wish I coulda created my Hal-Bomb.

III. Other random notes I scribbled down:
Pollux, Dirx, and Rysto and Gadarene, all cuddled up on day 1. About the whole "anti-acrostics thing", made me wonder if they're masons or what, scum aren't that stupid to all agree on the same thing. Pizza guy also kinda falls into this catagory.

IV: Gnarly's icon makes me miss Santo Rugger. I hope he's doing good. Pat's still always the man- He was an excellent Joker, and I still think of my first heated Mafia fight was in the 3 Kingdoms Dotchan mafia game vs. Pat, and the only time I let Mafia "get" to me was vs. him, but he was awesome about it and no hardfeelings on that day. (Hence my apology to Silver Jan, I felt my post was actually a lil similar to how Pat treated me there- making the "Check yourself" sorta comment to me in that game).

V. You Story.
You've truly been a Gastard for me. Well done. Your non-responses to my Questions have freaked me out, and left me slightly paranoid of you. I feel as if I'm talking to my jailer or something. You know things I don't know, and you're not sharing. I pretend like you're going to answer all my Qs at Nightfall, but I fear you're not.
---> It's made me paranoid enough that I wonder if my Role PM is even accurate, and if maybe my inventions actually will backfire, and blow up in my face. That maybe I shouldn't use them. Pleo's "Funny Gun" power sorta added to that paranoia. Maybe my inventions will reveal myself to said player I target or maybe just end up misfiring and targetting me.

-Also, one thing I'm begging to point out in Pleo's role, but can't because I'm a noob- his "Mask" power reeks of BS to me, because it's almost exactly like my "Inara's Bow" power in Firefly mafia. Where I was town, but I lied about have an ability to target those who attempt to NK me with a 25/50% chance of death as my way to try to avoiding being Night killed while I was a cop. One of the first times, I realized that "Sometimes Lying as a Townie is Okay*". (which you and I may still disagree on). Again, because Mafia is a team sport, if you lie to help your agenda further the town's agenda, and you're willing to let your death prove your "towniness" and thus your data points then it's okay. But not if you're just a random vanilla doing it for shits and giggles. You just have to make sure you realize that as soon as you admit you lied, you WILL be lynched.
*But only when I do it. Not other people. Because my Ego says its okay.

-->That's why I honestly believe Pleo is the best lynch today- if I was scum, there's SO many options with having a known pawn on the board to play with. Especially one that could send a message to Batman, I sure as shit would be trying to see if I could play him into joining/assisting our team. (If I was town, i'd go back and see- Did pleo say he could win WITH Scum too? Which is at odds with the idea of someone saying that Scum couldn't win with PFKS. All the more reason to lynch him rather than NK him right now, he is a threat to the scum, but a role blocker removes that threat easily. That's wht the townies advocating to let scum deal with it aren't considering).

V.
Pollux also pinged me for his "Batman might not be scum" post. It felt like a nice setup for WIFOM for a future batman claim. Plant seeds of doubt.
On a personal note- I personally hope you made Batman Scum. I feel like that's a big part of Arkham- that there was a clear indication between Scum and Town. I LOVE flavor, and though I don't want it to give clues away (except when I do), I like it to sync up with the settings. Serenity Mafia still haunts me when I led a lynch and basically killed a fellow townie, because her role was an "evil" role from the show. That was the first time, and it blew my mind that "Evil roles' could be good characters- THAT was my PizzaGuy "breaking the fun" moment. Which was the whole point of Arkham for me- Good guys are always Mafia, but in Batman, the Bad guys could be anything, and there were good badguys that could go either way for the WIFOM. But the big bads were always clear. That was the point of the extra roles/fake role PMs. I wanted my good guys to only be good in powers and in death, otherwise, they were given "townie" roles/names so they could try to blend in a mass role claim.

So yeah, if Batman isn't the GF, my heart will break a little, but it IS your game. You can be the Kevin Smith to my Frank Miller or whatever one. (Btw, a fantastic Villian to use- Kevin Smith's Onomatopoeia, one of my fav. new batman villains, as seen in Cacophony. I woulda used him in my Arkham 2 game. Or as a fake role- because he only speaks in Onomatopoetic phrases- but he is revealed to talk normally. So maybe have his phrases be associated with Day time powers or such. It woulda just been fun to write for that character I think- which was half the fun- just creating death scenes and shit. But reading back on it- man, I was wordy.

As Stephen King puts it best: "Elephantiasis of the typewriter".

1. Damn damn damn whoo! to the Penguin being scum. One on a personal note of scum and town not following the obvious themes/flavor. So we can expect Townies and Scummies not to be obvious based on names.
-This also means fake role PMs are less necessary, (which does cast some WIFOM on Chronos), however I'd think players like Batman/Robin would be hardpressed to want to reveal their true identities, so perhaps a limited fake role?
-Also a bummer- Night 2 was going to be the Penguin Suit costume. Which totally gets thrown out now. But it is interesting.

2. Quick glances at my Early Ed conversations- Makes me wonder about AskThePizzaGuy, InnerSTickler, and Cookies as the 3 biggest Ed supporters (in that order). I think one of the 3 may be potential scum if they were being obvious, but I need to look at the End of Day Data.

3. I'm pleased with my choice of Pollux as target- because he's a smart dude, and I like testing him. His post had me giggling:

HA! :Evil Cackle!: Perhaps that's the problem. You should wonder WHICH Player in the Mafia universe would be willing to strap an acme bomb to someone in public. Somethings go beyond just the game! Mwhahaha!

Excellent- He'll enjoy the green/black confetti then. And the "riddle" clues that'll show up. He'll have the most investment in trying to figure out what the bomb does, this was the main reason for giving it to him. It helps to give him some WIFOM and a distraction for his mind. I'm thinking this BillMC people could be distracted this way too. But if they're townies, I don't want to keep doing thing to them... or do I? (see below for that).

One of the main things I'm going to ask him is about the ruling of powers resolving at Dawn/Dusk and if that includes possible exploding bombs. I.E. will I explode into a gooey mess in the middle of the day, or only at Dusk.

If anybody wants to step forward and let me know why I've been bombed, feel free! I promise I won't get mad at you. I'll just vote to lynch you, that's all. [/quote]
Good questions to ask (though I've already made it harder for myself when I reveal myself- but it was worth it I think.
For his answer, when I made the bomb in mind- it was whenever the countdown reaches 0. So whenever he makes his 7th vote. And the counter would count down in public for the extra fun

Damn, I wish he didn't jump to the posting conclusion and use it as an excuse to lurk though, that's REALLY shady....

-My thoughts- I should be using the bombs on Townies, because it's sort of like an unofficial "doctor" role- I'm basically letting the scum not pick them for NKs, because they'll WIFOM that the bombs might end up taking care of the scum. So maybe on investigative/protective roles, I can "help" them out by strapping bombs to them. That's just my twisted mind at work.

Of course, by my new role PM, it'll be you guys doing that stuff FOR me.
-Also, on the Night's events- I'm pleased. Investigator gone and 2 scum total down so far. That's all good signs in my book. And I wonder if Talia was recruitable, so good that she's out too.

We have potentially 4 Masonic townies outing themselves (which I doubt is the case), and we have a potential 3rd party investigator, which I could use (unless said role is trying to kill me). But my goal will still be to play for the Town's side. I estimate a potential 5+1 scum 5 out there, and one recruitable just on my whims/gut feel. I feel like there could be several potential recruits though. So we'll see what's up. If there's a townie recruiter, that'd be nice. Maybe that's DrainBead's Role? She can ask 3rd Party players to join the Town or the Scum? We'll have to think about that one.

-I'm thinking alligator suit next (I imagine it like a fuzzy mascot suit and not realistic) just to emulate killer croc but not be 100% accurate.
-maybe the giant cat outfit
-Rambo uniform/bullets to symbolize a Vig
-Sexy Nurse outfit for a "doc"
-(the Chef hat was for a Miller btw)
-Floppy detective hat
-Spagettii stains for Mafia
-Blue pee stains in a giant diaper- just for fun
-Tiny helium filled squids- just for fun (and a shout out to Boozy)
-Bottle of moonshine with XXX on it sewn to the suit (Boozy)
-A delicate cake pastry (sach) costume
-I wonder if Catman is in this game? That'd be amusing. Or OwlMan. Ratcatcher was pretty impressive- I didn't know of him. Hmmm... maybe Bookworm?
-Giant Worm outfit for that one
-Two costumes sewn together for Harvey Dent
-Tin man outfit (scarecrow)
-Freeze Ray Prop gun (Dr. Horrible- My last role)
-Giant Bat outfit (Man Bat)
-Superman costume
-Giant Sheep costume (Hal)
-Shoes of some sort (i'd have to go back to the game and see what I claimed. No shoes or red shoes?)

Ideally I'd like to mix and match, a costume, a prop and maybe something random mixed into it.

Alternatively, I am debating changing up the killing devices too. From the giant bomb thing. To maybe either going one of two ways.
1. Super Gory ala my style. Think like SAW torture devices (next one was potentially a cyanade gas sorta device with a gas mask). Just to mix it up and scare the target
2. Go super cartoony or silly but still twisted again moi. Acme TNT was this one, next one maybe something like an Xray attached to them and inside you can see a ticking bomb in their belly; or (my personal favorite), just a Gun placed against their chest with a vise connected to a timer counting down. Or a picture of their Kidneys taped to a scar on their back with a "Have you seen me?" Though how that'd be deadly, don't know.

I could go uber-Medical with the deaths to leave little clues about mo... But again, I feel like if I reveal myself (or my little "Arkham Secret" in my role PM, I'd be Insta-Lynched).

That said, it'd be nice in my Death scene if Stephanie Brown's Death scene was her revealing that Roosh is back (rather than having it be she dies, and it turns out roosh was inside a mask or something and is the dead one). I'd like Roosh to make an entrance rather than an exit, ya know? But that's all up to you, Story. I trusts yas on that one.

Okay, spin control- obviously the powers that be were trying to help me confirm that Silver Jan knew who Robin was. Or that someone knew about Robin. They were (if robin dies and is just a "special") telling us that maybe Robin was a miller or something.
Or maybe they mean Frank Miller- and that Robin and Batman and so forth relate to that book somehow?

-Maybe Robin is blue, because that's the color of Nightwing, and that Nightwing may exist in the game?

Sigh, just always gotta have something in the back just in case. Maybe they meant for a clue to be passed onto Jan, but she revealed her information before Pollux did. Pollux could have revealed his first, and it might have helped to verify that Jan and the Robin stuff is true.

Cookies Reaction is actually EXACTLY what I wanted. Not suspicious of my bad logic, but more exasperation. It's that Noobie Cred. And totally sums up how I felt at times about DC (who I liked as a person and a player- but it was so not like my style that it was just painful at times).

I'm hoping to convey these sorts of vibes. That I'm trying to be helpful, but slightly clueless, kinda over-eager, but not Scummy. More just over-eager n00b townie. Fast votes/easily persuaded by other players (which could totally blow up in my face as a scum tell/accusation of backpedalling. To which i'll have to pout and cry and play the N00b card hard).

Also, a subtle jab to Lightfoot calling her a fellow newbie in my post- She noted she was an emotional player day 1 especially when put on the defensive. [Or I might have gotten this from the Wedlock Game, only other game I read, and only clues I've used for some of the newer players- I give BillMC more distance because of this).

So I'm hoping to poke LF a lil' bit, see if we can't stir up the pot a little bit. Maybe this one could blow up in my face, or it could really pay off if she gets loud and noisy. But I think that's my cue to start to calm down my posting and let the heavy hitters step in and discuss shit.

I hope I wasn't the 3rd vote for Her, I think I might have been.
Ah well.

-That said, this Day has totally destroyed again any chance of me claiming Roosh. If I do that, and they look back on the Day 2 plays I did. It's basically like I was trying to roll over Lightfoot. Which I might have been doing, but not intentionally as a scummy player.
I need to hope that Cookie's Vibe spreads to the rest of the players and they think more eager Newbie than malicious scum.

All of this has the ACTUAL purpose of hopefully letting scum see that I'm not a great player at analysis, that I make shitty conclusions, AND that I can be easily persuaded by other players and bow to peer pressure.
This has all been basically to convince scum that I'd be a fantastic player to keep alive a little longer and try to manipulate me into making the bad decisions in the end (however, doing this, flies me very close to the anti-Town radar). I gotta avoid the Vig too.

BTW, forgot to mention yesterday:
BillMC's post 191 on day 2. It pinged me. The whole "I read back and my number one suspect for scum was... the dead guy who turned up scum". Just trying to build up townie cred and establish "hey, I know what's up guys. I suspected the known Scummy guy.
--I fully approve of it as a Scum Strategy. Well done.
And then the rest of the post- Fluff about the the two dead people possibly trying to communicate with each other and a possible recruitment by Ed of Pleo. Again, sounds interesting, but really fluffy shit. The Dead can't defend themselves, and they're great to poke with sticks and theorize about. I approve again.
--And smears the Vig in the process.
--Then the SilverJan/Lightfoot discussion- the use of his words to dismiss them like "children fighting in front of the teacher", really is FANTASTIC work. He smears them both, but really dismisses Silver's arguments (as weak as they are), and his word choice makes it seem like they're not a significant topic of discussion, and it's just petty squabbling and not a true avenue of discussion.

BAsically, I FULLY approve of this post- this is what Scum SHOULD be doing if they're trying to defend an ally or dismiss an arguement.
He establishes his credibility; then sounds smart with unprovable theories; and then dismisses others, and slightly adds the emotional jabs too (calling them both children). It's a fantastic post and earns him an FOS in my book.

If I had to join the scum team this game, I'd hope BillMC was there. He'd be great at it.

IF I was scum, and the scum team was actively talking and we knew he wasn't scum(and not down by 2 while we're at it- well maybe even if they were), I'd try to bus him. Just for fun.
It's an easy Lynch right there potentially- his playing style clashes with a lot of the Doper Styles of Mafia, and he comes off as slightly more arrogant [with his touting of his Mafia experience], and he doesn't really add much to the discussion/taking his own advice- all easy reason to argue lynch him. I think plenty of townies would consider hopping on that bandwagon.

And then when he dies, you can poke the body, and plant the WIFOM of why did scum want him dead? Maybe he was onto something with his vote random ideas- lets look at who he was suspicious of (a small list), and then try to think if things could be breadcrumbs and all.

When in fact the real (and best) reason for the Scum Kill would be simple: "Because I'm Scum, and I could." No Rhyme or Reason to it- lynchings should simply be done to fuck with the Town. NKs are for power roles and figuring out shit. But Lynches- it's a free way to smudge the entire town and the voting bodies. Lynch 'em and then Guilt trip 'em and let them try to find meaning for why they did what they just did.

Cookies and Lightfoot have gotten buses started on them, but couldn't close the deal on either one right now.... But both make for great targets for toNight.

The silence of the Masons isn't good, but considering I don't trust 'em.... I can't help but wonder if Nanook tried to play the long game- it would be a genius one, but i doubt he's scum, if he is and he got mahaloth, we're fucked. It's well done.

And now I stepped on the Gas and see if we can Bus Cookies toDay, she was on my possible scum list, and I don't mind seeing what happens- it'll save me having to Device her toNight.

This is another of my lurky 3rd Votes- SUPER Suspicious to me, and I'm worries. It's my riskiest vote to date. It's with less than 24 hours left to go, it's opportunistic on an unclaimed player, and it's setting them up for the noose over another player.
It's just wrong on all counts in my book.

1) Can I make a Device that counts down if the Player with it makes a Night Kill? Like put one on Texcat that simple counts down if she Vigs someone? It doesn't affect the game or anything, it's simply flavor... but it's triggered by specific things in game. That's all. <_< Totally Kosher right? lol

2) Can I make a generic one that simply counts down with the number of dead bodies?


3.... If you were letting me put the devices out in the middle of the Day or at certain times rather than night... I would have loved to put like a Knife or a Gun onto a player, they are unaware of it... but then on like "Wednesday April 3rd" the gun will fall out of the pocket of the player at 12noon, and be visible to all. The player will be blushing and embarassed. Carry on.

Things like that would be a real nice cup of WiFoM.

And now... for something completely different.

I got bored, and the Town is talking. Sheesh. Not good combination for me.

Boredom is my Wine. And I likes to drink the Wine in Front of Me, because I can holds my liquor when it comes to Scummy tactics.

We have a rare card being played by me and I'm curious to know if it works:
"The Swerving Bus" Tactic! I attack Cookies, strengthen my arguments against her... while agreeing with her, and trying to help her at the same time- by pointing out a target for her to focus on.

It's best done with 2 scum members actively together behind the scenes to actually make it work. But since I'm alone, 3rd Party, bored, and I'm curious if Cookies will take the bait, I'm executing it alone. It's like the Bridge scene in Speed- will it work? :crazy:

Basically, I called out SisterCoyote, and smeared her for (a deservedly) opportunistic vote against my own target, while providing arguments to strengthen my arguments against my target.
--->This will force SisterCoyote onto the defensive. And force her to also defend her Cookies vote. And because I've added TO my argument of Cookies, it'll look really suspicious for her if she can't find new comments to add, and is forced to do a "me too" argument, stating her thoughts are similar to my own.

It's fucking Evil, and now that I'm explaining it- everyone who actually tries to read this massive collection of thoughts is going to be aware off this tactic- and try to call it out. But... if it actually WORKS... it's like the scene from Speed- watching that fucking bus leap over the Bridge- you gotta admit the first time you saw it- was pretty fucking cool, right?


That said... this strategy is also rediculous... hard to pull off, and could easily fail at any moment and explode in my face.
-Cookies could focus on me instead of Coyote for the shit i just pulled (being wishywashy)
-Coyote could focus on me rather than defend herself (for my calling her out)
-Another player could not jump Wagons, and then I'll look suspicious for riding the fence, and I can't really jump the buses because that'll be even worse.
-I could get called out by anyone for obviously trying such a bullshit move (smudging a fellow voter).

-That's why we did the 3rd post in that series (asking Coyote for more information- to try to get her to focus on herself, and cookies to focus on her, rather than either on me and my bullshit).

That said, good thing my Swerve bus jumped from Cookies to Coyote.
Now I know who the doctor may potentially be, and it's a particular cool role- I like the sacrifice aspect- though I'd say have it so that the scum if they attacked on the targets they'd die too (and if cookies kept that to her self, good girl.).

That said, her role could easily be a mad bomber, it's so very true, just click detonate, and kill 'em all at the end of the game or something.

But still.

I'm inclined to believe her. Good try, Cookies, sorry I pressured you, but then I got off! And now that helped me, because I was going to claim dueling mad bombers, with me as the "good bomber" vs. the evil kerosene one- now I won't have to do that as that woulda been instant death.


Anyways, time to work on essays and hide for the rest of the day- after all I DID make a massive post saying I'd miss the end of the day. It'd be just embarrassing if i showed up right now even if I do want to call a whole bunch of people out. And yell at them for unvoting over and over.

Well, that was a fun little bus ride, wasn't it boys and girls?
We end up exposing the doctor, AND taking out one of the Town's Vigs.

Good for me- one less chance of being randomly NK'ed! That said... what to do with TexCat now? I wonder if we could bus her toNight? If she's actually town, that'd be a BAD BAD move on my part- however, using my Bus attack tonight might be bad if i pick someone OTHER than Texcat, who seems almost guaranteed to be the next lynch (as scum or the SK aren't going to try to take her out tonight).

Hmmm.... Who could be scum then? Scum would probably be fine with either lynch actually. So that's a null tell, though they'd probably want to kill the claimed doctor LESS. but they might want to pretend to keep pressure on her just to see if she actually DOES die.

I don't trust Hal, Sinjin, Lightfoot, BillMC currently.
I fear... only BillMC (though if Sinjin did one of those WoW posts against me instead of Cookies... i feel like i woulda been a dead man).

So my decision for tonight- who to Bus? The Obvious target (but could still plausibly flip Town, PFK? Texcat?)... or do i continue to befuddle the town and create another complicated voting device?
