Thoughts Day 6

So- probably going to have to claim toDay. Pollux is playing sloppy and frustrated now- he's also an excellent scum player if he's doing this- his ideas toDay all would be GREAT if he was the last scum.

Force the Mass Claim, try to kill of Mahaloth for the WIFOM of alignment, and give scum a 1-2 chance before he comes back. And to just try to advocate killing one of the possible "mod confirmed" Townies.

Either he's wounded, bored, or scum. It's an interesting mix. Especially since my device has let him stay alive this long w/o worries of Night kill. He could just as easily try to paint me as the PFK, and try to claim I'm some mad bomber.
My only hope will be to offer mercy and point out that I don't HAVE to put the bombs- just detonate them and I won't put more out.

But he could then WIFOM the bombs and say well, detonating them is what you WANT us to do- in which Case I'll have to say from the start- Pollux, you can have control of the Bombs if you like. I will not put them, and you guys can detonate or not detonate them as you wish.

The only point in my favor- Sbrown would have no idea about the Sheep Joke.
So that's a point in MY favor that my power is as I say it is.

I have constructed a new fake role pm, ironically, I'd saved a copy of my fake role PM somewhere, but I have LOST my "real" role PM that you sent me. -_-

That said, the noose tightens every so quickly. I have to pray that sinjin's device shows up with a Batarang in it and broken so it looks disabled. Though, I wouldn't mind a Peeker Lynch- but I do believe he's more likely Townie or PFK than scum. =\

But any lynch that's not mine and gives me less suspicion I'm down with at this junction. We don't have the luxury of the previous wiggle room once we're down to this few players.

Boredom.

Time for a Desperate Gambit from a Dude who's getting bored of just playing the Long game.

I want to actually know how the Town like's my claim. I'm curious to see how long it'll play.

My guess: I'm getting Lynched because I'll be the easiest to WiFoM- they'll just say, well I NEED to detonate my devices in order to Win, and thus they'll be anti-my devices and want me dead. Easy Peasy.

But I'm fucking bored now. The Town's playing Lazy and Stupid. And I think there's 2 scum left basically, and maybe 1 PFK, but I'd like to see some Action.

So why Not light up a lil' fire and get burned?

Life's too boring to waste it doing nothing but lurking!

Now it's ALL about the Short game. I think I'm the MOST likely to be lynched today (So you better give me a good death, Story! Start working on it!)
So if I can live past Day 6, I will be pleased. If I make it to the end of the Week... pfft, I don't expect to live that long.

But NOW we're having fun again! It's me vs. the Town and the Scum. Just the way I like it. Threw a little WIFOM for the scum too- they'll want to consider my "clues" and consider maybe keeping me alive for good measure.

Also, IF BILLMC is HUSH... then I've been a fucking genius. As he would be the PERFECT target for the Batsuit next to Robin basically. lol. :crazy:

Ah, that's a point in MY favor that I hope someone else role claims.

Obviously, BillMC should be down 2 more on his Counter- Myself and himself.

Place your bets story- are you going to be writing my death scene or are you going to end up writing a bunch of costumes explosions for the end of the Day!


-If I survive into the Night, I've already thought of some "clues"/Messages with which to taunt Pollux with.

Jeez, I created a monster with Pollux.

That said, I'm actually getting a scummier lean- if he deducted that the items were harmless, and did the whole "Fuck it, I'll detonate the device thing"-it's what's given him the MOST townie cred so far- but otherwise, he's been putting out meh ideas. Some of which a GREAT ones though.

I personally love the Sinjin-Texcat Duel. Two killers dead and I don't have to worry about either one? I'll take it. Though part of me wishes Sinjin breaks tradition and takes out Pollux Oil tonight.


But still, mass claim Day 6. And Pollux is the one calling out for my blood. Meeko was suspicious too, but that's why he's getting lynched. If only Pollux could hang as well.

And yet... did I make it through the entire Day without a Vote from any other player? <_<

Am I REALLY going to make it a WEEK without a Vote? That'd be fucking impressive. Pollux has had more votes than I've had.

But I'm still worried about his (scummy) AutoLynch the PFK plan. Those sorts of Auto-lynch plans NEVER go well, and ripe for scum manipulation. The people who will tend to agree with that? Are the scum because they're in my shoes- it's just another lynch without them getting any heat. It's a free pass. It's lazy Townsmanship.

Really, if Scum were worried about me being PFK- I'd expect to be NK'ed tonight.

As for P's "Claiming 3rd party woulda been more believable". Pffft, yeah, I saw how that worked out for Drainbead- PFK AND Scum would LOVE a free lynch like that, and so would foolish townies.
-Also, again, I believe in Pro-town lying. My claiming Town (had it not been for the Astral Reject prediction) would have been Pro-Town. And I had done it to avoid getting attention from scum (which is why I hinted the clues help town AND scum possible- it's more busy work for the scum, because they're more apt to believe me, AND they're more apt to want to keep me around for my clues since they know i'm not scummy, and less likely PFK). The problem is if they DO assume I'm PFK then I'm toast.

My scum choices?

Honestly, Peeker's is antiTown right now by becoming a Sandbag. That's not scummy though, it's unhelpful. If i was a vig, I'd off him toNight.
Meeko can die. I don't think he's that scummy honestly, and if he is, he's the last scum. Because to leave and magic bag like that... reeks more of Bad Townie play, Scum would try to fight a little more- unless they were stuck, and had no more reason to fight.

Though we did almost have a 3 way bandwagon. The votes ARE interesting- Gad, Meeko were both going back and forth, and if there are 2 scum they might have saved one over the other, or they coulda gone for teh bus.... :shrug: It's WiFoM. And not my problem to care about. Though it kinda is, if i want the game over quicker.

But with the Insta-Lynch toMorrow hanging over my head? I'm not feeling particularly helpful, I'd rather be more self-preservatory.

BillMC's suprise in the bomb- we'll see who spins it what way if scum will view it more or if people will assume I planted it (Which is when i point to the sheep one), or if people assume it's just a trick and ignore it (which is fine with me).

Either way, I just want to keep on living. I think toNight i'll tell the town no more devices.
And then we'll use my powers, but differently.
And maybe I'll get a nice message for a Mr. Pollux oil. We've still got options as long as we're breathing. :crazy:

Plus if there's a double kill tonight, it gets me one step closer to winning again. But I NEED the PFK (Texcat) Dead! Maybe that'll help to relieve some pressure off my back. Though if there's one, why not two? that's gonna be a tough one to defend versus.

If that happens, I wouldn't care what happens if I died tommorrow in a Lynch, just knowing that one of my silly clues led to the Death of Pollux would be HILARIOUS for me.

But how do I play this? I don't want to comment right now- I'd rather Pollux post first to deal with the horror of knowing you're dead to sights in a WIFOMING Vig. This is where it's fun to just sit back and watch....

And then I'll later on in the Night (after he responds) come back and make the comment that I won't be doing anything tonight, AND ask about "blue wee?"

I don't want to distract the Sinjin/Pollux standoff right now. Amusing that the person who i initially thought scummy (S) and the person i wanted to save because he's my friend (P), have flipped for me, and I want that one to kill the other to get him out of my hair.


That said, I wonder if Sinjin will auto-target BillMC when she sees the Batsuit on him? At this juncture, I'd still want Pollux Dead first, THEN BillMC lynched if he has to. Or maybe just WIFOM it.

Also, i wonder about this: My win condition:

WIN CONDITION: You win with any side if you are still alive when the game ends

Implies I win WITH The PFK. But more importantly... it implies that there IS NOT A PFK in the group, that there's only Sides. Town/Scum.

Problem? I can't tell anyone of them this information because they'd assume I was PFK and lying.

It's great to have this sort of info and not be able to use it....

Ha. Amusingly, I had no idea that BillMC was Batman in a previous game. That costumed idea worked out really well. Originally it was just supposed to reference Ed's WIFOM of passing the suit and belt along, but this version was just too comical to be intimidating. So thank God BillMC had that excuse.

Also, they've picked up on one of the intentional subtle clues. Yes, SBrOwn has that O capitalized for no reason but to reference the old SN. However, I tend to use Ro0sh- with a Zero on the Dope.
But I used to back in the day go with the face= oO.

And amusingly, Pollux was told BEFORE the game BY ME, that I wasn't "in the game, but that I had helped design the game" (basically i told him of your offer, but said i chose the other option- to help behind the scenes vs. play). This was prior to game start.

That said, I'm surprised he's not letting the rest of the Town know that information- that Ro0sh could possibly be behind some of the characters/traps/etc- it'd seem almost perfect that Ro0sh designed the Anarky role.

I wish Sbrown could somehow explain that to people. Ah well.

Reading Lady Shiva's canon on Wiki, makes her a likely suspect to be Scum. Just saying.

Night 6 action will NOT BE A DEVICE

Target: Pollux Oil

Device: A Private invisible device- Pollux does not know he's had a device on him. Just the following flavor at Dawn:

"You notes he has had a deep, restful sleep last night, but can't help but feel as if you were watched by a pair of eyes throughout the night. You have a horrible feeling in the pit of your stomach that someone knows your secret, but who?"

Basically, Pollux feels as if he's been watched, and that the watchee has discovered some information about him last night.

-No references to "Lady Shiva" should be made.
-Try to avoid referencing Nightmares. If the implication he was drugged/roofied/chloroformed can be added, that's the way to go- but I'd rather him not find ANY traces of any objects around- this is all just suspicion in his mind, he finds nothing around him, and was able to complete his night actions as usual.

(2)That said the "Device" also sends ME a copy of whatever flavor you wrote him (just so I know how the words came out- if you edited them, etc.).

Ah... Wow. I made to Phase... III i think it was. Final 10, 2/3 of the competition is gone. 9 Players Left. May the Odds be EVER in your favor and all that Jazz.

This is pretty damn impressive for a Survivor. NOW is the time we can enter the next phase- thinking about who we want to take to LyLo.

Oh sure, I COULD try to help the Town and figure out who scum is and try to end the game as quick as I could. But that's putting ALL my eggs into one basket. At this point, we've got 5 Townies of 9. I know I'm 3rd. So thats' 6 known Roles and 3 unknows. Either 2 scum+PFK, or 3 Scum (unlikely), or 2 scum +another 3rd OR my money is on 1 scum, 1 pfk, 1 3rd party out there beside myself.

If that's the case, the other 3rd? They're also going both ways. So that's 2 of us that could win with either side. So scum has a majority of 3 there.
Townies: 5+2 (7) of the 9
Scum: 1+2= 3/9 (Longest way for them to go)
PFK: 1+2= 3/9 (Assuming I with their "Side"... Again, helpful.


So my goals for toDay:
1. NOT get lynched.
2. Not become a HUGE NK target for the SCUM. The "vig" I think we can "leash" or at the least, avoid trying to kill moi.
3. Hope the PFK doesn't target me tonight.

I do think Texcat or Sinjin is not Town. But i don't think that's the last of them. Hal's role, Bill's role, Gad's role... all of them are nice covers. So still gotta stay careful. It's not LyLo yet.

Worst thing to do would be expose myself as 3rd party when it's NOT lylo, and get "Freebie lynched" to avoid helping out scum numbers.

BillMC- he's still on the trail, but I don't think he'll be as likely to put it together. But he's still a deadly foe. He might get lynched toDay though, especially if him and Gad get into a shouting match. Which is why I've made my "thoughts" posted them, asked a few questions, and now can try to fade back, and let these two fellows continue to go at it, and then come in at the end to mop up.

that vote chart btw- I look AWFUL scummy in it. I've always voted for the lynch leader, and I should get a good bit of heat my way for the whole lynching of Meeks. That was a bad play on my part.

And if I was the Vig last night- I woulda killed Peeks, of course, if I was PFK- i wouldn't do that at all. We'd take out the one who suspected me. If Texcat killed Pollux, that'd be interesting. Especially if she says she did it to "help" out Sinjin's expected target.

If that's the case, I'd vote Texcat for that move. Only prob- if she lives, i become the NK target of choice for her. So back to the chess board....

Last night's message asking me about 3rd? was interesting. I do hope that player is still alive. I thought it was either Peeker or Pollux with that power. If it's PEeks, he may show up (which I REALLY hope he doesn't. I need a free dead Townie).

But if it's pollux, then damn.

But if it's a SCUM messenger- that's perfect. I don't mind scum knowing I'm 3rd, especially because then they'll know they NEED me around to live and count on their side. Which is why in my message I didn't say I was "Town" I just said "Not PFK". As in... I'm willing to work for both sides here.

But if it's a Townie, "the damned if you do/dont" is more the key- that I'm taking a defeatist attitude, and I believe this person may be scummy and all that- lest I reveal too much info.
Now if it was a PFK messenger- meh, that's not something I expect. And if its a 3rd party, which is plausible, then it's useless. They could sell me out for Town cred, but that's weaksauce.

I'm going between that was Town/Scum, and they were curious. I hope it's scum, because that's one less NK target i have on me then.

Yes, I'm that paranoid that this late in the game, he could still come back, or have access to the boards and still post.

The silence is deafening. No new posts in 24 hours. That REALLY favors the Scum, the PFKs, and of course... the moi. The survivors. The longer we stretch it out, the more likely we can have voting shenanigans on the last day or two before the Lynch.


My thoughts- I believe the message I received saying "3rd"- most likely from Scum. Which is cool with me. I hope it is. I hope they believe my "frustrated" response and keep me around. If that's the case, then my vote toDay- it's going to have to be for TexCat. I need the PFK/Vig/Loose Cannon dead- as MUCH as I want her alive to keep picking off players.

-The risk is too great as the numbers dwindle. I'm likely to NOT be Town, so i'm an easier shot in the dark for a Vig NK anyways. And if she's PFK, she'll actually WANT to NK me more, because of the hopes that I'm PFK and then she can say "Ah Ha! There's likely to be only ONE PFK in the game, and we found it!" and then use that as a cover. The closer we get to LyLo, the more those odds of her doing that increase- because if she's wrong, then she might get lynched. But the closer to LyLo she gets, the more tempting it'll be to try to "Expose" the PFK. It's Reward vs. Risk.

Which is why I have to nip it in the bud myself. I need to kill her off.

See, I don't HAVE to care about Town/Scum at this point. This is phase III- we're past 75%, and we're playing for LyLo. I need the people most likely NOT to vote for me alive, and the people most likely to kill me gone.

PS: I half expect when I finish this game, that I'll be lynched just on principle in the StraightDope Mafia game. Just because I've fooled so many players over here who are playing over there that they'll just drink ALL the WIFOM, get drunk, and then be overly paranoid that everything I say could be me being super-Townie and helpful, or me being super-scummy and still manipulatively helpful. "Because come on guys, he managed to pretend he was an 18yo girl for nearly 2 months, much less also a PRO-TOWN 18yo girl for 2 months. He's just that good a liar!"

Of course, scum don't even have to believe that- so it'll be easier for them to try to make it. Hence my mentioning it here. So others will also be prepared if they're Town and see it there happening to me.
Then again- the problem with drinking all the WIFOM:

That's pretty much the motivation for why I do anything in Mafia.
1. Does it help the Town Win?
2. Is it amusing or fun (for me, not the Town)?
3. Will it give me enjoyment?
4. Will it help my Team win or at least NOT HURT my Team's chances to win?

That's pretty much the rules of Ro0sh regardless of what role I play- right up there with my #1 Rule: "It's okay for Townies to Lie, but only if the Townie is Ro0sh." :crazy:

I know the smart move for me is to vote for TexCat- that'd force Texcat to choose one of the other two targets to save herself, and to give scum a chance to jump ship/bandwagon someone easily.

But i wanted to take credit for trying to Kill Bill. I mean come on, I've outlived every other one of my "targets" on my list. Why not go whole hog?

Amusingly... I do think BillMC is scummy based on his voting pattern. If he calls me out or gets frantic, I might go back and drop a WoW's post to try to convince others that he deserves the noose. I just know right now by tying up the votes, I'm giving TexCat the chance to Vote for Bill (and look scummier for it- though self-preservation is a null-tell). But hopefully, Tex will get the heat and not me... and then I have to take my chances that my "Keep the PFK alive!" speech is enough to avoid TexCat's crosshairs tonight AND my "3rd party" message is enough to keep SCUM off me tonight as well.

As always- I don't expect to live through the night.

So anyways, yeah- Intentional Silence. But Bill brings up a point that I went back and forth on actually since his 4am Question yesterday.

If there is 1-2 Scum and a PFK and the Town....
I've got a chance to play KingMaker. Am I pro-Town? Anti-Town? Pro-Scum? Pro-PFK?

I actually thought about this quite a bit- on if I'd give into Bill, and answer his questions, leading to an eventual vote on TexCat. And I do think Bill is scum, and Tex is PFK, so that is factoring into my thoughts.

Here's the thing:
1. I don't believe Town DESERVES a Win here. They've been bumblefucking their way through this game with their Detective works, their random lynching of Scum (Idle claimed, Batman was dumb luck, Penguin was a self-kill/NK Accident/Vigging). Town did SHIT for getting those guys.
AskthePizzaGuy- I fucking wrote a WoW trying to lynch that bastard for 2 days, and that was only because he was patronizing towards me and I was feeling spiteful.

So WHY does Town deserve to win? These people who turned their backs on me, and went into a pro-"Let's just lynch 3rd Partiers as a Free Safe Lynch"? RIP DrainBead. Yeah. I feel a real sense of loyalty to them. =\
The Silver Jans, Lightfoots, Non-Claiming Meekos, and Silent Peeks all deserve a W to their records? Hmmm...

Yeah. I wasn't bitter at all about that whole Pro-Lynching 3rds. Hell, since then I've been actually pretty fucking Anti-Town. Just they've not noticed, and again, it was in my best interest to be pro-town- because scum was down so bad early.... But now? As we get to LyLo? I can sit and play around. :crazy:

2. But here's the other side of the Coin? Does SCUM deserve to win this one? If I help Scum out (voting for TexCat in my book), that'd mean that AskthePizzaGuy gets another W in HIS book. 3. PFK though. I also feel so spiteful that I just want to say "Fuck you town, fuck you scum" EVERYONE GETS A LOSS! And let the PFK win. That'd serve 'em all Right. Honestly, the PFK (if they're in here) has played the BEST game of Arkham so far, because of making it this far underneath all of our noses.

I almost wouldn't mind losing (in case I can't join the PFK Win) just to let everyone else Lose at this point. I survived. The principle of the Game would still be intact for myself. That's still fucking impressive.

That said though. THE WORST thing i could have happen is the PFK takes me out toNight. I'm assuming that's not likely- because all of TexCat's targets have been Town (minus Pengie). So maybe she's also assuming 3rd parties will help out HER win condition? If that's the case, then yeah, we need to start picking off Townies sooner than later.

So yeah.

Who do I want to win?

If I'm anti-town I vote for BillMC- and see what he flips. IF I'm Pro-Town/Scum- I vote for TexCat.

Right now. I like the TexCat W idea. It forces scum to get desperate, it gives me an easy lynch target for toMorrow. and I get to kill BillMC.

-Speak Up, Change vote To TexCat?
-Stay Silent, Watch BillMC hang (or have the silent peeps speak up).
-Switch last min to TexCat tommorrow just cuz- looks scummier though.

Maybe I should pull a TRUE Dotchan, and flip a coin and see what happens.
